Today has been a very hard day for us. I worked and then headed out to Kaiser Riverside. Barbara had sent me a message that Mike had his CAT scan and it showed extensive scarring on his left lung and a large pneumothorax (collapsed lung) on the right…..

After writing the two sentences above, I received a frantic call from Barbara “The hospital called and Mike’s O2 Sats are in the 40s.” I had spent the afternoon at the hospital, gone to Barbara’s and made dinner, helped get the kids ready for bed and driven home from Riverside to Ontario, tired and glad to be home….
